Tragic Crash Claims Life of Beloved 52-Year-Old Woman in Newport Road Smash
Alison Killed in Horror Road Accident
Alison, 52, from Oak Tree Close, Western Downs, died after being hit by a vehicle at the busy junction of Derrington Lane and the A518 Newport Road on August 29. The fatal crash has left her family devastated.
Family Mourns Bubbly Aunt
Her relatives paid tribute, saying: “Alison adored her nieces and nephews who will miss her daily. She was a very bubbly person determined to live life on her own terms. She will be dearly missed.”
Man Arrested and Released Under Investigation
A 56-year-old man from Telford was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and failing to report the collision. He has since been released under investigation as police carry on with their inquiries.
