Early Morning Assault Sparks Police Hunt in Doncaster

Woman Attacked Near Hospital

Police were scrambled at 4.55am on August 1 after an 18-year-old woman was grabbed from behind and pushed to the ground on Armthorpe Road, between Doncaster Royal Infirmary and Sandringham Road. The attacker, an unknown man, fled before officers arrived.

Suspect Description Released

Authorities say the suspect is a white male, about 5ft 10ins tall, late teens to early twenties, average build, with dark hair and a patch of dark stubble. Police are patrolling the area to track him down.

Community Urged to Help

Detective Chief Inspector Jamie Henderson said: “This incident is deeply troubling for the local community. We are using every resource to find the individual responsible.”

“You will notice a strong police presence over the coming hours. Please approach officers if you have any concerns—they are here to help.”

“The victim is receiving specialist support. If you were nearby, have CCTV, doorbell, or dashcam footage from around that time, please contact us immediately. Your information could be crucial.”
