Attempted Murder Shocks Glenrothes Car Park
Detectives in Fife are urgently hunting two men after a brutal attempted murder in Glenrothes.
The attack unfolded at around 6:50pm on Thursday, 21 December, in a South Street car park.
Two Men Attacked – One Seriously Injured
Two men, both aged 41, were targeted. One suffered serious injuries and was rushed to Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy.
Police are eager to track down two suspects believed to be involved.
Suspects Described in Detail
- The first suspect: about 5ft 10in, slim build, wearing a light jacket with hood up, dark snood covering his face up to his eyes, possibly a tammy hat, and dark tracksuit bottoms.
- The second suspect: also around 5ft 10in, in his 20s, slim build, spoke with a Glaswegian accent, donned a dark (possibly blue) jacket with hood up, dark snood to eyes, and dark tracksuit bottoms.
Police Plea for Witnesses and Footage
“Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I would urge anyone who may have information to get in touch,” said Detective Sergeant Steph Drummond.
“We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam or private CCTV footage from the area to come forward.”
