Police Hunt Men in Black Audi Over String of Oxfordshire Burglaries
Police have dropped CCTV snaps of two men wanted over a wave of break-ins across Oxfordshire and Berkshire.
On Friday 7 June, burglars struck between 9am and 5.30pm at three homes on Knights Way, Emmer Green; Lydsee Gate, Wantage; and Hurst Rise Road, Botley. Jewellery and cash were swiped.
More Thefts Over Weekend and Into Monday
- Saturday 8 June, 3.30pm-4.30pm: Jewellery pinched from a High Street property in Chinnor.
- Monday 10 June, 2.45pm-3.15pm: Offenders smashed a side door in Radley Road and made off with a large amount of cash.
Three Men Caught in Garden Raid
On Wednesday 12 June around 12.45pm, three men were spotted in a garden on Chazey Road, Caversham Heights. Police believe these incidents are linked.
“We think the crooks are hunting jewellery and cash, using a black Audi A3 to hit multiple spots,” said Det Sgt Francesca Jarvis of Abingdon police station.
