Test Valley Council Slashes Garden Waste Hassle with Easy Renewals!
Test Valley Borough Council is shaking up its Garden Waste Collection Service. This week, all current subscribers will get a letter explaining simple new ways to renew, making the whole process hassle-free.
Subscriptions End 8 May – Renew Automatically!
Your garden waste subscription expires on Sunday, 8 May 2016. But now, you can renew automatically and pay by annual direct debit. For just £29.50, you’ll get your garden waste bin or sack collected every fortnight for a full year.
Need more than one bin or sack collected? No problem. It’s £17 for each extra subscription. New to the service? Sign up online at www.testvalley.gov.uk/gardenwaste or call 01264 368000 / 01794 527700.
Easy Renewals to Save You Time
“If you are a current subscriber, all you need to do is sit tight and you will receive a letter or email in the next few days with further information,” said Councillor Graham Stallard.
“We wanted to make it as easy as possible for customers to renew their subscription, so they don’t have to re-register online or over the phone every year. We’ve also streamlined the process for new sign-ups, making it quicker than ever to join.”
Bins and Bags – What You Pay
- The 240-litre garden waste wheeled bin costs a one-off fee of £25.
- The 130-litre reusable garden waste sack is just £1.50 one time.
Both charges are in addition to the subscription fee.
Got a spare wheeled bin at home? You can get a garden waste label to use it. If your existing bin or sack is still in good nick, keep using it – no need to replace.
