Tragedy Strikes on Cold Night: Young Man Vanishes After Night Out

On a freezing winter night in 2013, Allan Bryant Jr’s life took a heartbreaking twist. The 23-year-old had spent the evening at an engagement party before heading to the Styx nightclub near Leslie Golf Club with friends. His parents, Allan Sr and Marie, had no idea this would be the last time they saw their beloved son.

Last Moments Outside Glenrothes Club

At around 2:02am, Allan Jr left the club to walk home. Outside, he encountered an unknown man who suddenly pushed him. After this shocking encounter, Allan vanished without a trace.

A neighbour near the club later reported hearing shouting and screaming on that fateful night. She recalled the noise abruptly stopping, followed by the sound of a car quickly entering and then speeding away from the Salvation Army area nearby.

Relentless Search and Family’s Plea for Answers

Allan’s worried parents reported him missing to Police Scotland the following Monday. Despite ongoing investigations and widespread searches, Allan Jr has never been found.

Detective Chief Inspector Kevin Houliston from the Major Investigation Team vowed to keep pushing for answers. He described Allan as 5ft 6ins tall, with short brown hair, blue eyes, and distinctive tattoos on both arms. On the night he disappeared, Allan was wearing a Voi t-shirt with navy, grey, and white stripes, dark jeans, and grey leather plimsolls.

Family Fears the Worst – Calls for Public Help

The Bryant family fears Allan Jr may have been murdered. They continue to campaign tirelessly for justice and clarity.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 or email [email protected]. Anonymous tips can also be reported to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via text to Missing People at 116 000.

As the hunt for answers drags on, the Bryants cling to the hope of eventual closure. For them, there is no giving up.
