Early Morning Petrol Station Heist: Armed Robber Strikes on Old Meadow Road
Gunman Targets Petrol Station at Dawn
Around 4.45am, a man armed with a gun stormed into a petrol station on Old Meadow Road. He threatened the staff member on duty and demanded cash from the till. After grabbing an undisclosed amount of money, the robber fled the scene.
Suspect Description
The offender is described as a white male, approximately 6ft tall with a medium build. He wore black clothing with his hood up, making identification tricky.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Inspector Darren Hankin said, “We are at the early stages of our investigation and want to hear from anyone with information. Thankfully, the staff member wasn’t hurt but is understandably shaken.”
He added, “If you were in the Old Meadow Road area around 4.45am or have dashcam footage, please come forward.”
