Teen Arrested After Two Separate Stabbings of Schoolgirls in Croydon
Teen Held After Early Morning Arrest
A teenager was arrested in the early hours of Sunday, 8 November, at a Croydon home. The youth is now in custody at a south London police station, as officers investigate two recent stabbing incidents.
Second Girl Stabbed Just Days After First Attack
Police were called at 8:23am on Friday, 6 November to St Paul’s Road, Croydon, after reports of a girl injured by a stranger. A 15-year-old girl was stabbed in the arm. She received treatment at the scene before being rushed to hospital. Thankfully, her injuries are not life-threatening.
Two Similar Attacks, Two Victims, No Known Links
This latest attack follows a similar stabbing on Wednesday, 4 November at 8:50am on Moffat Road, Croydon. Another 15-year-old girl was stabbed in the leg by a stranger. She also survived with non-life-threatening injuries.
Both victims attend different schools and are not believed to know each other.
