Gunfire erupts in Hackney late Friday night, sparking police hunt.
Shots Fired on Homerton Road
Police rushed to Homerton Road, Hackney, at around 11.40pm on Friday, 7 July 2023 after reports of gunshots.
Officers scoured the scene but found no injured victims. Those involved fled before police arrived.
Bullet Casing Found, Crime Scene Sealed
A crime scene was quickly established. Investigators recovered a bullet casing, confirming shots were fired.
Specialist Crime detectives have launched an urgent investigation.
Police Release Footage, No Arrests Yet
After extensive enquiries, cops released short footage of a suspect they want to question.
So far, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.
