Masked Thugs Launch Brutal Robbery on Birch Grove Driveway
Just after midnight, five masked men in dark clothes ambushed two victims outside their home on Birch Grove. The attackers left the men battered with multiple cuts and bruises before making off with a haul of cash and jewellery.

The gang targeted cash worth around £4,000 from one victim’s car and swiped jewellery from his person. Shocking CCTV evidence reveals the criminals waited a staggering 81 minutes outside the property before striking.
Police Hunt for Getaway Car – Grey BMW 1 Series
Detectives have zeroed in on a grey BMW 1 Series believed to have been used as the getaway vehicle. The car was spotted parked outside the home from 10:43pm until the robbery before speeding off towards A580 East Lancs Road. However, the vehicle is yet to be found.
Police Appeal for Witnesses to Help Nab Violent Attackers
Detective Inspector Barbara Hebden slammed the “violent, planned and targeted attack” causing “serious distress and trauma” to the victims. She urges locals to report any info, sightings, or footage from CCTV, dashcams, or doorbells around Birch Grove between 10pm and 12:05am on November 21.
“If you know anything about this grey BMW or saw suspicious activity, please come forward. We’re determined to bring these criminals to justice.”
