Burglars Used Knockout Drug in Shocking London Thefts
Four burglaries rocked Brentford, Hampton, Hounslow, and Bromley between December 31, 2022, and January 9, 2023. The crooks reportedly used a noxious substance to knock victims out cold before stealing their belongings.
Victims Unconscious as Thieves Swipe Valuables
When the victims came to, their personal items were gone. Thankfully, no one suffered lasting injuries and all are cooperating with police.
Pair Targeted Victims Via Grindr
Detectives say the suspects—one a large black male, the other a slimmer, tanned white male—used Grindr to select their marks. Both spoke Spanish and are now believed to have fled the country.
“We believe more victims were targeted during the New Year period but may not have reported it due to personal reasons,” said Detective Superintendent Dan O’Sullivan.
