Police Car Rams Suspect’s Vehicle in High-Stakes Fulham Chase

Crash on North End Road

Met Police officers tried to stop a speeding car on North End Road, Fulham, on Saturday afternoon. The driver refused to stop and smashed into a marked police patrol car, flipping it over.

Officers Escape Serious Injury

The officers inside the police car walked away with minor injuries. Both were treated by emergency teams at the scene, including London Fire Brigade and Ambulance Service crews.

Suspect Arrested and Road Closed

The driver of the suspect vehicle was arrested on suspicion of multiple offences. He was taken into custody at a central London police station, where he remains held. Meanwhile, North End Road remains closed while officers conduct a full investigation and area search.

A Met Police spokesperson said: “At about 17:10hrs on Saturday, 8 April, officers attempted to stop a car in the vicinity of North End Road in Fulham. The vehicle failed to stop and collided with a marked police car, causing it to overturn.”
