Floodlit 3G Pitches and More at Parsloes Park
Barking and Dagenham’s Parsloes Park is leading the charge with a full-scale revamp featuring three floodlit, full-size 3G football pitches. That’s not all – gym facilities, studio space, revamped changing rooms, and a buzzing café with social areas are also on the way.
Clubs and Communities Score Big
- Tigers JFC, London Sport Awards winners, will enjoy fresh facilities at Brittons Playing Field, helping ease the local pitch shortage.
- In Brixton, St Matthew’s Project and CEF Lyncx will launch disability and multi-sport sessions at a new floodlit multi-use games area on Roupell Estate.
- The Fulham Foundation plans varied community programmes like Kicks, Walking Football, Wildcats, and Mental Health Sessions using the new Brixton facility.
- Capital 1 Academy is building new accessible changing rooms.
- Westminster Academy pitches will support local groups running initiatives involving the Met Police, OneYou Westminster, Man v Fat, London Tigers Asian 1, and Unity in the Community.
