Four Teens Questioned After 12-Year-Old Girl Attacked and Racially Abused in Portsmouth Playground
Police are hunting for witnesses after a shocking racial attack on a 12-year-old girl at Landport Adventure Playground in Portsmouth.
Horrific Assault at Landport Playground
The terrifying incident took place on Friday, September 23, at around 4.52pm in Arundel Street’s popular playground. The girl was punched and hit by a gang of up to four youths – both boys and girls – who hurled racial abuse as they attacked her.
Victim Left Traumatised but Not Seriously Injured
The young victim received medical treatment but thankfully escaped serious injury. However, the ordeal has left her deeply shocked and traumatised.
Police Crack Down on Suspects
- Two 16-year-old boys, one 16-year-old girl, and a 14-year-old boy were arrested on Sunday, September 25, on suspicion of racially aggravated assault.
- They have all been released on bail until October 3 while inquiries continue.
