Decapitated Corpse Found at Portsmouth Tesco Petrol Station – May Have Been There for Years

Chilling discovery at Tesco Extra in North Harbour, Portsmouth: workers unearthed badly decomposed, decapitated human remains beside the petrol station forecourt. The grim find was made around 11am by ground crews prepping a nearby building site.

Police Launch Murder Probe

Hampshire Constabulary has confirmed the case and swiftly sealed off the area around Clement Attlee Way store. A force spokeswoman said: “We were called shortly after 11am following the discovery of what appears to be human remains. Officers are currently at the scene and a cordon has been put in place to protect the area.”

The police cordon stretches from the planned McDonald’s site to the petrol station exit. The station remains operational, with customers being redirected to the entrance after refuelling.

Remains ‘Could Have Been There for Five Years’

Sources suggest the gruesome remains may have lain undiscovered on this patch of waste ground for up to five years. Forensics teams are combing the scene for clues.
