Man’s Condition Improves After Lewisham Bus Incident
A man rushed to hospital after being clipped by a bus in Lewisham has seen his condition improve, police say.
Critical Condition Now Reassessed
The incident happened on Lewis Grove shortly after 8pm on Saturday, March 30. Emergency services arrived swiftly when the man’s injuries were initially classed as critical.
But today, the Metropolitan Police confirmed his injuries are not life-threatening or life-changing. A police spokesperson said: “Emergency services were called at around 20:08hrs on Saturday, 30 March, to an injured man in Lewis Grove, Lewisham. The man was taken to the hospital. His condition has been assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing.”
Ongoing Investigation Underway
Authorities suspect the man was clipped by a bus, and enquiries are ongoing to uncover exactly what happened. Police are currently reviewing CCTV footage to get a clearer picture.
