Police launch probe after man stabbed on Deptford High Street on Wednesday night (August 20).

Stabbing Shocks Deptford

Officers were called at 7.36pm after reports of a stabbing. Emergency services, including one ambulance, rushed to the scene.

A man in his 40s was found with stab wounds and taken to hospital. Thankfully, his injuries are described as non-life-threatening and not life-changing.

No Arrests Yet

The investigation is ongoing. Police have yet to make any arrests as detectives work to piece together what happened.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson urged anyone with information to come forward:
