Young Man Killed in Horror A3 Crash with Van
A man in his twenties has tragically died after being hit by a van on the A3 early this morning (3 June 2017).
Fatal Collision Near Thursley Junction
Surrey Police were called just after 4am to reports of a pedestrian struck by a van on the southbound A3 near the Thursley junction. Emergency teams, including South East Coast Ambulance and Surrey Fire and Rescue, rushed to the scene but sadly, the man was pronounced dead at the spot.
Driver Cooperating as Road Closures Hit A3
The van driver is currently assisting police with their investigation. Meanwhile, traffic diversions are in effect on the A3 in both directions between the Hindhead Tunnel and Milford as officers carry out their work.
