Thieves Snatch Giant £250 Christmas Nutcracker in Broad Daylight!
Police are on the hunt after a massive five-foot Christmas Nutcracker mysteriously disappeared from outside a business in Sheerness. The festive figure, valued at £250, vanished from Broadway on Friday afternoon, leaving locals stunned.
Festive Cheer Stolen at Around 1pm
Kent Police received the alert at 1.33pm on December 5, reporting the Nutcracker was taken roughly half an hour earlier. The giant statue had been placed outside a funeral home to bring comfort to mourners during the holiday season.
Two Men in Custody as Investigation Gathers Pace
Authorities have arrested two local men, ages 59 and 39, in connection with the theft. Detectives are urging anyone with information or CCTV footage to step forward and help crack the case.
