Woman Harassed on Train by Drunken Football Fan
Just after 6pm on Sunday, February 6, a shocking incident unfolded on a train leaving Crewe station. A woman was travelling when a group of football fans, fresh from a Liverpool match, boarded the carriage. Among them was a man clutching a bottle of wine who soon made her journey a nightmare.
Man Makes Unwelcome Advances
The man, described as white, in his mid-50s with short brown hair and medium build, boldly sat next to the woman. He repeatedly asked for her phone number before telling her he wanted to kiss her. The situation escalated as he touched her inappropriately. When the woman told him to get off, he coldly replied, “there is nowhere for you to go.”
Victim Escapes with Help from Other Passengers
Terrified, she moved down the carriage and stood with two Cardiff City FC fans and a woman, who witnessed the ordeal and stayed by her side. The man was wearing a black gilet, navy jumper, and blue jeans at the time.
