Man’s Aggro Burglary Shakes Totton Neighbourhood

Hampshire cops are hunting for witnesses after an aggravated burglary rattled Totton on Wednesday afternoon. The drama unfolded at around 12.35pm on 30 January on Downs Park Avenue.

Threats Made During Theft

A man stormed into a house, threatening the occupants before snatching a wallet and handbag. He then legged it, heading down a gravel path leading to the marshy Bartley Water area.

  • Officers urge anyone who saw suspicious activity nearby to come forward.

Suspect in Custody

A 28-year-old local man has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary and remains held by police.
