Man Left Fighting for Life After Brutal Midnight Punch Outside Burnt Oak Tube

Police were called in after hospital staff alerted them to a man in critical condition following a vicious attack in central London. The victim was taken to hospital after being punched near a kiosk outside Burnt Oak underground station on Watling Road, Edgware, just after midnight on Saturday, 28 October.

The man was struck by another individual before collapsing to the floor. Officers are still working to identify the victim and are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

Call for Witnesses

Detective Sergeant Emma Thompson from the North West Command Unit said: “We know from CCTV that there were people in the area outside Burnt Oak tube station at around midnight who saw what happened and I would urge anyone with information to come forward. A man is lying critically ill in hospital as a result of this act of violence and we need to find who is responsible.”
