Three Hurt in Horror Crash Involving Kia, Mini and HGV
Police rushed to the scene after a nasty collision on Castlewellan Road on Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency Services Respond
Inspector MacDonald revealed: “We received a report shortly after 4.15pm on 29th November that a crash involved a Kia Picanto, Mini Cooper, and a Renault HGV lorry.”
“Officers, Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue, Air Ambulance, and Ambulance Service all attended immediately.”
Casualties and Ongoing Investigation
Three people were rushed to hospital with injuries. One victim is still in critical condition. Thankfully, Castlewellan Road has now reopened.
Inspector MacDonald added: “Our investigation is ongoing to figure out exactly what happened. We urge anyone with information or dash-cam footage to call police on 101, quoting reference 1313 of 29/11/22.”
