Road Rage Horror on M11 Near Chigwell: Man Assaulted After Heated Clash
Just before 8am on Tuesday 26 April, an ugly roadside showdown erupted on the northbound M11 near Chigwell. A grey Nissan driver and a black BMW motorist clashed on the hard shoulder, sparking a violent assault.
Driver Injured in M11 Hard Shoulder Brawl
The Nissan driver suffered injuries serious enough to need hospital treatment. Thankfully, police say his wounds are not life-threatening or life-changing.
Suspect Arrested But Released Under Investigation
Essex Police swooped quickly and arrested a 44-year-old man on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH) and criminal damage. He has since been released under investigation.
