Brutal Bus Bash: Man Punched Twice, Left Hospitalised
A man was viciously punched on the top deck of the number one Nottingham City Transport bus, travelling from Nottingham city centre to Loughborough. The attack erupted after a dispute on board. The violence didn’t end there—once off the bus, the victim was assaulted again.
Victim Suffers Serious Injuries
The brutal beating left the victim with a fractured cheekbone and eye socket, plus significant swelling. He needed hospital treatment following the shocking incident, which happened on the night of Saturday, 19 November.
CCTV Released: Police Hunt Suspect
Nottinghamshire Police have launched a full investigation and released CCTV images of a man they want to question. Police Constable Andrew Finch said:
“This was a frightening ordeal for the victim and we are determined to track down the person responsible as quickly as possible.”
“While our lines of inquiry are ongoing, we believe the man pictured may have information which could assist with our investigation.”
“I’d appeal to this man, or anyone who knows or recognises him, to please contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 389 of 20 November 2022, or call anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
Anyone with tips is urged to come forward immediately.
