Kent Police have unveiled an image of a man linked to an assault on Margate’s bustling seafront. The incident went down just after 9:30pm on Saturday, 17 May 2025 at the popular Sun Deck on Royal Crescent Promenade. A man and a woman were attacked, but thankfully, no serious injuries were reported.

Officers are digging deeper and reckon the man in the released picture might hold vital clues to crack the case. A Kent Police spokesperson urged the public to come forward:
“We are appealing to the public to help us identify the individual shown in the image. He may be able to help us better understand the circumstances surrounding the incident.”
