Hit-and-Run in Bursledon: VW Golf Crashes Into Tree After Collision
Did you see it? Around 9.30pm on Tuesday 9 April, a Volkswagen Golf and a flatbed van clashed on Bursledon’s Windhover Roundabout. The Golf smashed into a nearby tree after the crash.
Van Flees Scene With Damage
The van, described as having a white cab with distinctive chevron-style markings, didn’t stop. It sped off towards Fareham along the A27. Officers believe the flatbed van’s offside front bumper and wing mirror took a hit in the collision.
Injured Driver & Key Witness Appeal
The Volkswagen driver, a man in his 20s from Fareham, suffered a sprained neck. His car was badly damaged. Police urgently want to speak to the driver of a small red car seen behind the van. This driver might have dashcam footage or crucial information.
