Six teenage lads, aged 14 to 18, were snapped up by cops after a bold phone theft at Brent Cross Shopping Centre. The alarm went off at 2:35pm on Sunday, January 4, when a gang stormed a shop and made off with a haul of mobile phones.

Lightning-Fast Police Action

Met Police officers swooped on the scene minutes later. They quickly tracked down and arrested the suspects nearby, hauling them in on suspicion of robbery. All six remain in custody for questioning.

“Our officers responded rapidly to the incident, leading to swift arrests. The suspects remain in custody as investigations continue,” a Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed.

The Hunt Continues

Officers are still piecing together the full scale of the theft. It’s not yet clear if all the stolen phones have been recovered. Police urge anyone who saw what happened to step forward and help the inquiry.
