Teen Arrested After Knife and Gun Threats in Milton Keynes

Armed cops swooped on a 17-year-old boy in Milton Keynes tonight following scary reports of a man waving a knife and firearm.

Police Called to Bancroft Area

The drama kicked off around 6.50pm on 27 June when officers were alerted to threats made in the Bancroft area. Armed police quickly moved to an address in Bletchley, Milton Keynes, and nabbed the teen.

No Gun Found but Teen in Custody

The boy was arrested on suspicion of having a firearm or imitation firearm with intent to cause fear. He remains in police custody while investigations continue.

“No firearm has been located and I would like reassure the community that this incident was isolated and has now been safely resolved,” said Sergeant Matt Thorne from Milton Keynes police station.
