Teen Arrested After Brutal Assault on 64-Year-Old Woman in Fife Woods
A 15-year-old boy has been arrested and charged after a shocking assault on a 64-year-old woman in Bowhill Woods, Cardenden, Fife. The attack happened on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at around 7:15pm.

Police Scotland swiftly launched an investigation following the incident. Thankfully, the woman’s injuries were not serious enough to require hospital treatment. The teen suspect, who cannot be named due to legal restrictions, now faces charges related not only to the assault but also additional road traffic offences.

Sergeant John Nicol, leading the probe, thanked the public for their support. He urged anyone with information to come forward. “We appreciate the members of the public who have helped and shared our appeal,” he said.
