Police Hunt Four Drivers After Teen Motorcyclist Dies in Horror Poole Crash
Emergency services are desperately searching for four drivers who may have witnessed a fatal smash between a teen rider and a truck on a Poole roundabout.
Tragic Collision on Safety Drive Roundabout
Dorset Police were called at 5pm on Friday, 28 November 2025, following a crash involving a silver motorbike and a DAF lorry at the Safety Drive roundabout.
Crews arrived quickly but sadly, the 17-year-old rider from North Dorset died at the scene. The lorry driver escaped without injury. The teenager’s family have been informed, and the coroner has been notified.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
“Despite the best efforts of emergency service colleagues, the 17-year-old motorcycle rider very sadly died. Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones at this difficult time,” said Sergeant David Cotterill of Dorset Roads Policing.
Officers have pinpointed four vehicles that were close to the crash site and believe their drivers may hold key information:
- A black BMW 1 Series ahead at the roundabout
- A white Vauxhall Astra in the second lane exiting onto Upton Bypass
- A black Suzuki Swift taking the exit as the crash happened
- A white Ford Transit van exiting onto Upton Bypass as the lorry stopped
“We urge these drivers to come forward. Anyone with dashcam footage from the area at the time should also contact us immediately,” urged Sgt Cotterill.
