Emergency crews desperately tried to save him but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have notified his next of kin and are hunting those responsible — no arrests so far.

Croydon Stabbing Sends Victim to Hospital, Arrest Made

Earlier the same day in Croydon, a stabbing on Hermitage Lane left a victim bleeding just before 11:20 am. Thankfully, their injuries weren’t life-threatening. Police swiftly arrested a man linked to the attack and investigations are ongoing.

Murder Probe Underway After Woman’s Body Found in Hounslow Canal

One of the darkest moments came when a woman’s body was discovered in a canal off Bulls Bridge Lane, Southall. Officers started a murder investigation after disturbances were reported at a property on Northumberland Crescent on the night of August 6. No one was found inside, but a 33-year-old woman was arrested at Greenford Bridge on suspicion of murder. The victim is believed to be a 57-year-old woman.

Man Stabbed Near British Museum—Suspect in Custody

Violence also hit central London on August 8, when a 36-year-old man was stabbed at the junction of Russell Street and Museum Street around 10 am. Police arrested a man on suspicion of Grievous Bodily Harm. The victim’s injuries are not life-threatening.
