Teen Thief Stirs Wiltshire with High-Speed Jaguar Chase
Wiltshire Police have nabbed two after a stolen Jaguar sparked a dramatic high-speed chase this morning. The drama kicked off around 10:30 am when police were tipped off that a 16-year-old had joyridden a Jaguar stolen from a Shrewton home.
Pursuit Ends in Dramatic Crash
The flashy ride was spotted tearing down the A36 near Westbury. When the teen refused to pull over, officers gave the green light for a chase. The National Police Air Service swooped in from above to track the getaway car.
The chase slammed to a halt on the A350 after officers cleverly flattened the car’s tyres, forcing it off the road. The vehicle crashed and two young men from Devizes were promptly arrested.

One suspect is now in custody at Melksham, helping cops with their inquiries. The second remains in hospital but is not seriously harmed. Police investigations are ongoing.

“Thanks to the swift actions of our officers and support from NPAS, we safely ended this dangerous pursuit and ensured those responsible face justice,” said a Wiltshire Police spokesperson.
The chase caused traffic chaos on the A350, with police advising locals to steer clear until the crash was cleared. Thankfully, no one from the public was hurt.
