Super Pill Bust! Two men nabbed in Portsmouth after cops seize 3.6kg of deadly ‘Super Pills’ ecstasy tablets.
Massive Ecstasy Haul in Portsmouth
The South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU) struck hard today (10/5), executing a warrant in Fratton, Portsmouth. They seized a staggering 3.6kg of ecstasy tablets, known on the street as “Super Pills” for their extreme potency and deadly effects.
Two Arrested on Suspicion of Drug Supply
A 64-year-old and a 24-year-old man, both locals, were arrested on suspicion of possessing and intending to supply a class A controlled drug. Both remain in police custody as the investigation unfolds.
Deadly Pills Could Be Worth Millions
Detective Inspector Jenny Olden, leading the inquiry, warned: “These ‘Super Pills’ are more potent than ever and linked to several fatalities. The street value runs into millions. With over 3.5kg seized today, think how many lives were at risk.”
“If you’ve been affected or have info, contact your local police via 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
This bust marks another strong step in SEROCU’s crackdown on dangerous drug supply across the South East.
