Police are hunting witnesses after a deadly crash in Lydd at 3.40am on Saturday, 18 May 2019. A grey Mini Cooper smashed off Dengemarsh Road and plunged into a river.

Two Dead, One Injured in Horror Smash

Emergency crews rescued two of the car’s occupants. Three people were rushed to a local hospital — two men and a woman. Sadly, one man and the woman died later that day.

Their families have been informed. The third occupant suffered minor injuries.

Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
