Thousands of other parties, from bars to clubs and restaurants, will light up the city. Most require tickets, so book ahead or risk missing out.

Chief Police Commander Issues Safety Warning

Gold Commander Paul Brogden said: “We want everyone in London this New Year’s Eve to have a great time. Safety is our number one priority, and officers have been planning for months. We’ll be out in force to deter crime and keep crowds safe, but we need everyone to look after themselves and others.”

“If you see anything suspicious, tell a steward or police officer straight away. Keep your belongings safe and only bring what you need. Agree on a meeting spot if you get separated from friends or family.

“If you have a fireworks ticket, get there early. Security checks will take time. After midnight, expect long waits for public transport. Check tfl.gov.uk for travel updates and plan your journey home.”

Get ready, London – this New Year’s Eve will be one to remember!
