Jewellery Heist Shocks Gillingham Pensioner

Thieves struck a pensioner’s home in Gillingham, making off with valuable jewellery. The burglary happened between 1pm and 5pm on Wednesday 18 August 2021 at a property on Broadview Avenue.

Victim in Her 80s Finds Home Ransacked

The victim, a woman in her 80s, returned to find her home trashed and precious jewellery missing. Police believe the raider conducted a frantic search before fleeing.

Police Hunt Man in Red and Black Lumberjack Shirt

Investigators want to speak to a man seen near the crime scene. Described as white and wearing a red and black lumberjack shirt, he could be a key witness or suspect.

Officers are also keen to contact the occupants of a blue Volkswagen Golf spotted parked in Broadview Avenue around the time of the burglary.
