Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision between a motorbike and car on the main road through Luckington near Malmesbury – UKNIP

At approximately 11.30am yesterday (05/04), there was a collision between a black Yamaha bike and a grey Audi TT on the B4040 near Hebden Farm, Luckington. 
The male rider, who is in his 60s and from Bristol, was taken by air ambulance to Southmead Hospital with life changing injuries.  The male driver and passengers of the Audi, who were also from the Bristol area, were shaken but uninjured. 
We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision or saw the car or bike beforehand to contact us on 101, quoting reference number 54210031542.   If you have a dash cam and were in the area at the time, we would ask you to check the footage in case you have collected evidence which could be useful to our investigation. 
The rider is currently in a critical but stable condition. 
The road was closed for most of the day and reopened at 8.20pm.
