Woman injured in Folkestone hit and run

Witnesses are being sought after a woman was injured during a collision in Folkestone. At about 11.30pm on the evening of Sunday 27th October 2019 a red Mercedes is reported to have collided with a pedestrian in Sandgate Road. The victim, in her 40s, was walking along the road when the incident happened near to The East Kent Arms and she suffered injuries to her arm. The driver had left the scene before police arrived and enquiries are ongoing to locate that person and establish the full circumstances. There were a number of people in the area at the time of the collision and officers investigating would like to speak to anyone who hasn’t already been in touch.
