Man Injured in Peckham E-Scooter Crash
A man on an e-scooter was hurt after a crash with a car in Peckham just before 12:20pm on Monday, January 16.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
Officers on patrol spotted the collision at the busy junction of Peckham High Street and Mission Place. They called in the London Ambulance Service, who treated the injured rider at the scene before rushing him to hospital. Thankfully, his injuries are not life-threatening.
Road Closed Then Reopened
The car driver stopped immediately and stayed at the scene. Police closed the road while they worked, but reopened it around 1:10pm.
Police Probe Crash
The Metropolitan Police confirmed the investigation is ongoing as they work to establish exactly how the accident happened.
