Fire Alarm Sparks Panic at Darent Valley Hospital Day Care Centre

Firefighters rushed to Darent Valley Hospital today after a fire alarm sounded at the day care centre. A full evacuation was ordered, and emergency crews launched a major investigation.

Massive Fire Response – But No Blaze Found

Eight fire engines and a height vehicle arrived at the scene at 4.41pm on Friday. Despite an extensive search, no fire was detected. The incident was wrapped up by 6.54pm with no damage reported.

Smoke Source Still a Mystery

Fire crews are continuing to probe the cause of the mysterious smoke. A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said:

“Kent Fire and Rescue Service responded to reports of smoke in the day care centre at Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford. Eight fire engines and a height vehicle attended, but no fire was found following a thorough check. Crews are still investigating the source of the smoke. The day care centre has been safely evacuated.”

The swift response prevented any injuries or fire damage, but questions remain over what triggered the alarm.
