Worker Trapped on Scaffolding Sparks Major Rescue
Emergency services rushed to Bishops Waltham just after 12:30pm on Friday. A man became trapped on the second level of scaffolding and collapsed, needing urgent medical attention.
Fire Crews and Specialist Teams Join the Rescue
Fire crews from Wickham, Fareham, Cosham, and St. Mary’s teamed up with a specialist technical rescue unit from Hampshire Fire and Rescue’s USAR squad. They worked together to free the trapped worker.
Ambulance and Hazard Teams on Scene
South Central Ambulance Service deployed multiple resources, including a paramedic, an ambulance, and a hazardous area response team. The man was treated on-site after collapsing while working on the scaffolding.
