Fire crews from Clacton, Colchester, Frinton, and Weeley rushed to tackle a late-night bar fire on Orwell Road in Clacton just before midnight. Essex County Fire and Rescue arrived at 11.53pm to find both the bar and a nearby van ablaze. Rapid action by firefighters contained the fire with no reported injuries.
