Massive Barn Fire Rips Through Isle of Sheppey
Firefighters are battling a huge blaze at a barn near Old Rides Farm on Leysdown Road, Eastchurch, Isle of Sheppey. The fire erupted around midday today, triggering a major response from the Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS).

KFRS has rushed eight fire engines and a bulk water carrier to tackle the flames. Thick smoke is billowing high and can be seen from miles away. Residents have been warned to keep doors and windows shut to avoid smoke inhalation.
