Firefighters rushed to tackle a fierce fire in Eastney this afternoon after thick smoke was seen pouring into the sky.

Hampshire Fire and Rescue dispatched two fire engines from Southsea to a single-storey building off Fort Cumberland Road, close to Fraser Range, shortly after 1:45pm.
Firefighters Fight Fire with High-Pressure Jets
Crews battled the blaze using breathing apparatus and powerful water jets to prevent the fire from spreading.
Child Severely Burnt in the Incident
Reports say two children accidentally set fire to the outbuilding. Tragically, one suffered serious burns to his arm and is receiving treatment.
