Police were called to the food court at The Broadway shopping centre in Bradford at around 1.12pm after a woman suffered a medical episode.
Emergency treatment was provided to the woman at the scene.
Members of the public were asked to leave the food court while emergency services dealt with the incident.
Police said the area was cleared to preserve the dignity of the patient while she received treatment.
The nature of the woman’s condition has not been disclosed.
