Roads Closed as Flames Threaten Flats
Police quickly closed Kimbolton Road and cordoned off the area while firefighters in breathing apparatus tackled the blaze with hose reels. They worked fast to stop the fire spreading to neighbouring flats amid heavy smoke.
Residents Warned to Keep Windows Shut
Smoke filled the street, prompting officials to advise locals to keep windows closed. The cause of the blaze remains unknown. Firefighters urged residents not to dump hot ashes or embers in bins to avoid similar incidents.
