22 Motorway Service Stations Bag Government Cash for Accessible Toilets
The Department for Transport (DfT), teamed up with Muscular Dystrophy UK (MDUK), has revealed 22 motorway service areas that landed funding for vital 123 to protect disabled passengers
In May, government proposals called for Changing Places toilets in all new or majorly refurbished public buildings, potentially adding 150+ new toilets annually in shopping centres, cinemas, stadiums, and arts venues. This builds on last December’s £2 million fund to install Changing Places in NHS hospitals.
