Jet Ski Crash in Lee on Solent Sparks Dramatic Rescue
A jet ski mishap in Lee on Solent waters yesterday afternoon sent lifeguards into action after a rider was spotted injured in the water.
Rapid Response from Rescue Teams
Gosport and Fareham Inshore Rescue Service (GAFIRS) crews were scrambled as the injured jet skier struggled afloat. They quickly secured the abandoned jet ski bobbing in the waves and pulled the casualty aboard the Gosport lifeboat.
Injured Rider Safely Brought Ashore
The rescue team rushed the injured person ashore, where South Central Ambulance Service took over treatment. The full details of the rider’s condition have yet to be released.
