Major Search Underway on River Medway

Emergency teams have launched an urgent search along the River Medway after reports of a person in the water. Kent Fire and Rescue, Kent Police, and Coastguard crews rushed to the scene just after 3pm on Thursday.

High-Tech Drone and Fire Boats Deployed

The Technical Rescue Unit is using a specially developed drone to scour thick scrubland near the riverbank. Meanwhile, two fire boats are combing the water between Halling and Wouldham, leaving no stone unturned in the hunt.

Official Statement

A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to assist Kent Police at an incident on the River Medway just before 5pm.”

The search is ongoing, with crews working tirelessly to locate the missing individual.
